TACEngine Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 21, 2026 Last Updated: August 21, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Novapco Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as TACEngine (“TACEngine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with tacengine.com and the TACEngine platform (together, the “Service”).
This Policy applies to visitors to our website, account holders and users of the Service, and anyone who contacts us for support. It does not govern the content or personal information that customers submit to the Service as Inputs or generate as Outputs while using our AI Features — that data is addressed separately in Section 4, and where it contains personal information about a customer’s own contacts or end users, the customer is responsible for having the right to submit it (see our Terms of Service).
By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, do not use the Service.
2. Personal Information We Collect
| Category | Examples | Source | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email, password, company name | You, when you sign up | Create and operate your account, authenticate you, provide support |
| Billing information | Billing address, subscription plan, payment status; full card data is held by Stripe, not by us | You, via Stripe, managed through FluentCart on our WordPress site | Charge Subscription Plan fees, manage your free trial and renewals |
| Content (Inputs and Outputs) | Prompts, keywords, briefs, and content you submit to or generate using the AI Features | You | Provide the Service’s topic-discovery, content-creation, and SEO-analysis tools (see Section 4) |
| Usage and device data | IP address, browser type, pages visited, session activity, error logs | Automatic | Operate, secure, and improve the Service; troubleshoot problems |
| Cookies and analytics data | Pages viewed, session duration, referring site | Automatic, via Google Analytics | Understand how tacengine.com is used; improve our website |
| Newsletter information | Email address, and name if you provide it | You, if you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list | Send you newsletter and product updates, if you opt in; you can unsubscribe at any time |
| Support communications | Emails and information you send us | You, via legal@tacengine.com | Respond to your questions and data requests |
| Model Provider credentials | Your own API keys for third-party AI models you choose to connect (see Section 4.2) | You | Enable your Customer-Connected Model; we store these only to route your requests and do not use them for any other purpose |
We do not intentionally collect health information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive categories of personal information, and you should not submit them through the Service.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and secure the Service, and authenticate your account;
- process your free trial, subscription billing, and renewals through Stripe;
- send transactional emails (account, billing, security notices) through Google Workspace, our email provider;
- send newsletter or product-update emails you’ve opted into, and let you unsubscribe at any time;
- respond to support and data-rights requests sent to legal@tacengine.com;
- monitor site usage through Google Analytics to improve tacengine.com;
- detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your account or billing information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
4. AI Features and Your Data
4.1 Included Model
TACEngine ships with built-in access to Anthropic’s Claude models as part of your Subscription Plan. When you use the Included Model, your Content (Inputs and Outputs) is sent to Anthropic to generate results and returned to you within the Service.
4.2 Customer-Connected Models (Bring Your Own API Key)
You may connect your own account and API key from a Model Provider of your choice — including OpenAI, Google (Gemini), OpenRouter, or any other provider reachable through an API — to use instead of, or alongside, the Included Model.
When you use a Customer-Connected Model, TACEngine acts only as a technical pass-through: we transmit your Content to the Model Provider you selected and return its response to you. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how that Model Provider stores, uses, retains, or protects your Content once it leaves TACEngine. That is governed entirely by your own account and agreement with the Model Provider — review its privacy policy directly. We store your API key only to route your requests to the Model Provider you’ve connected; we do not use it for any other purpose and do not access your account with that provider beyond making the requests you initiate.
4.3 No Training on Your Content
TACEngine does not use your Content to train or fine-tune any AI model, whether the Included Model or otherwise. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data — data that does not identify you or your Content — to operate, debug, and improve the Service.
4.4 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the Content you submit to AI Features and for reviewing Outputs before you publish or rely on them. Do not submit Content you don’t have the rights to submit, or personal information about third parties without a lawful basis for doing so.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing; the payment gateway underneath our subscription billing |
| Hostinger | Hosts both our WordPress marketing/billing site and the separate VPS running the TACEngine AI engine |
| FluentCart, FluentCRM, FluentSMTP | WordPress plugins we use, self-hosted on our own Hostinger site, for subscription management, newsletter, and site-form email — not external companies with independent access to your data |
| Google Workspace | Sending transactional and account emails (trial, billing, and security notices) |
| Anthropic | Provides the Included Model’s AI processing (Section 4.1) |
| Google Analytics | Website usage analytics on tacengine.com |
| Your chosen Model Provider(s) | Only when you connect a Customer-Connected Model — see Section 4.2 |
| Law enforcement or regulators | Only where required by valid legal process |
| A buyer or successor | Only in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, on the same terms as this Policy |
We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International Transfers
We currently sell the Service to customers in the United States. We are planning to expand sales to the United Kingdom and Canada. Your information is processed in the United States, through our hosting provider Hostinger and our other service providers listed in Section 5.
If you access the Service from the UK or Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take reasonable steps to protect information transferred internationally consistent with applicable law. As we expand into the UK and Canada, we will update this section with the specific transfer safeguards that apply.
7. Data Retention
- Account and billing information — retained for as long as your account is active, and as needed afterward to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
- Content (Inputs and Outputs) — available for export for 30 days after you cancel or your account is terminated, consistent with our Terms of Service, after which it is deleted from our systems.
- Model Provider API keys — deleted when you disconnect the Customer-Connected Model or close your account.
- Support emails — retained as needed to resolve your request and for our records.
- Website analytics data — retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including working with providers (Stripe, Hostinger, Anthropic) that maintain their own security programs for the data they process on our behalf. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
U.S. residents (including California). Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request access to or correction of it, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we don’t do. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@tacengine.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block cookies through your browser settings.
As we expand to the UK and Canada, UK and Canadian residents will have rights under UK GDPR and Canada’s PIPEDA respectively (including access, correction, and deletion). Until that expansion, we will still honor reasonable requests from UK or Canadian users on the same basis as described above — email legal@tacengine.com.
10. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use tacengine.com. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard log and usage data. We do not currently use advertising or marketing pixels. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics as described in Section 9.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact legal@tacengine.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent version. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the Service before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the update.
